Woodlands Hotel, BW Signature Collection, Dundee

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, albeit a bit dated and in need of some redecoration, but still cozy. However, the initial room temperature was really cold upon arrival with the heater off. On the bright side, the modern and well-decorated rooms made up for it, providing a comfortable experience. The service had some ups and downs, with a somewhat dismissive attitude over the phone but redeemed by a fantastic meal served by a standout staff member. The location was convenient, perfect for visiting family and friends, and the beautiful surroundings added to the charm. The dining offered good options, though it could get busy with varying quality. Facilities were fine, fulfilling basic needs.

The hotel room was comfy and spacious, allegedly an upgrade, and quiet, perfectly adequate for a single person. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. However, the room was so stuffy and hot with no air con, which was a downside.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room, though stiflingly hot above the kitchen, was comfortable and spotless with a lovely 4 poster bed. The service was responsive and helpful, although there were some issues. The location was excellent, near the beach and with friendly staff. The dining had its ups and downs, but the fruit was delicious. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.

I found the hotel to be in a nice neighborhood, with a good ambiance and perfect for a chilled break. The entrance and lounge area were lovely, but there were a few minor let downs that could be easily remedied. It was slightly out of the way from the busy streets, which was great for a relaxed stay.
